Trade Line Manager, Mold

We’re seeking a Trade Line Manager, Mold to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert for our mold service line, helping drive consistent, high-quality mold inspection, remediation, and sales practices across multiple markets. You’ll train and coach field teams, partner with local leadership, visit job sites, and help develop the people and processes that support the continued growth of our mold services.

• Have 3+ years of experience in mold inspection, remediation, or a related environmental services field
• Have experience training, coaching, or leading technicians or field teams
• Have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Can build strong relationships and credibility with field teams and local leadership
• Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities across different markets
• Are comfortable reviewing performance metrics and using data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Are self-motivated and able to work independently while traveling
• Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity software
• Are comfortable learning and using new technology and business systems, including platforms such as ServiceTitan
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving history
• Enjoy traveling and working with teams in different locations

What You Will Be Doing:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the mold trade line, including inspection, remediation, and sanitation practices
• Travel to local offices and job sites to train, coach, and support technicians and managers
• Conduct field ride-alongs and job site visits to observe techniques, provide hands-on coaching, and promote consistent quality
• Develop and maintain mold training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures
• Partner with local office leadership to identify performance gaps and develop improvement plans
• Monitor mold service line performance metrics, including revenue, close rates, customer satisfaction, and callbacks
• Recommend corrective actions and support teams in achieving performance goals
• Stay current on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to mold assessment and remediation
• Support onboarding and training for new hires within the mold trade line
• Partner with marketing and sales leadership on mold-specific campaigns and promotions
• Document training activities, site visits, observations, and findings in accordance with company procedures
• Represent Protect Environmental in a professional and positive manner with customers, partners, and local teams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor's degree or relevant certifications preferred
• 3+ years of experience in mold inspection, remediation, or a related environmental services field
• IICRC Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) certification or applicable state mold remediation license
• Proven experience training, coaching, or developing others in a field services or trade environment
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a multi-market territory
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity software
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and business systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to walk, climb ladders, and access attics, crawlspaces, and basements
• Ability to demonstrate hands-on remediation techniques in the field
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel approximately 50–75%, including frequent overnight travel
• Ability to work in a variety of customer job sites, local offices, and field environments
