Testing Manager

We are seeking a Testing Manager to lead and manage testing activities for a banking project, ensuring solution quality, performance, reliability, and alignment with business and technical requirements.

The Testing Manager will work closely with Business, Development, Technology, Project Management, and other stakeholders to establish effective testing governance and ensure successful delivery across system integration, user acceptance, regression, performance, and other testing phases.

»       Define and manage the overall testing strategy, approach, scope, and test plans for the banking project.

»       Lead testing activities across SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing phases.

»       Coordinate testing schedules, resources, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.

»       Establish requirements traceability to ensure business and functional requirements are fully covered by test scenarios and test results.

»       Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, project teams, and technology teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

»       Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including defect identification, prioritization, tracking, escalation, and resolution.

»       Prepare testing dashboards and management reports covering execution progress, defect trends, quality indicators, risks, and release readiness.

»       Ensure test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data adequately cover business and technical requirements.

»       Coordinate performance, integration, and regression testing activities and ensure results meet defined acceptance criteria.

»       Support business users during UAT and facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams.

»       Ensure testing activities align with banking quality, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

»       Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, tools, and quality practices.

»       Ensure testing milestones and project quality objectives are achieved within agreed timelines.

Requirements

»       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

»       7+ years of experience in software testing, including significant experience in test management.

»       Experience working on banking systems, financial services platforms, or digital transformation projects strongly preferred.

»       Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test management, and quality assurance practices.

»       Hands-on experience managing SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing.

»       Strong experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM/Quality Center, or equivalent.

»       Strong understanding of test planning, execution, defect management, and testing governance.

»       Experience managing testing teams, resources, schedules, and project dependencies.

»       Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

»       Ability to operate effectively in complex, large-scale, and highly regulated project environments.

»       ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is preferred.
