Feladatok leírása

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing strategies and automation. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of modern testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and experience testing microservices-based applications. This position is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases.
• Apply different test classification approaches (by access level, purpose, execution type, etc.).
• Implement effective testing strategies based on:
• Test Pyramid
• Testing Honeycomb
• Testing Trophy
• Perform API testing, including validation of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain UI test automation.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
• Work closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and produce clear reports for stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Elvárások

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with API testing, including authentication and authorization concepts.
• Experience with UI test automation.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Understanding of modern software architectures:
  • Microservices architecture
  • Event-driven architecture
• Experience with the following tools and technologies:
  • Groovy (preferred) or Java
  • Selenium / Selenide
  • Maven
  • Reporting tools (e.g., Allure)
  • BDD tools such as Cucumber or Spock

Nice to Have

•  Experience building scalable automated testing frameworks.
•  Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
•  Knowledge of performance or security testing.
