For our client in the financial services industry based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Test Analyst (Fully Remote).
Your Responsibilities:
- Estimate the effort required for manual and automated testing and align estimates with business stakeholders
- Create and maintain test cases based on business requirements and user stories
- Prepare and manage test data for functional and non-functional testing
- Execute manual tests and document test results and defects
- Analyze, track and document defects in close collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders
- Analyze test coverage and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the selection and preparation of test cases for test automation
- Assess risks and prioritize testing activities accordingly
- Prepare test reports covering test progress, quality and risks
- Support and advise business departments on testing activities and testing methodologies
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in software testing, including test analysis, test design, test execution and defect management
- ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst (CTAL-TA)
- Basic knowledge of or initial experience with test automation, ideally using Tosca, is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or ALM
- Strong analytical, structured and quality-focused mindset
- High level of accountability and ability to work independently in a remote/offsite environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage
