About Critical Facility Group
Critical Facility Group (CFG) is an MEP consulting and owner's project management firm specializing in data centers and mission-critical facilities. Our engineers and project managers design, build, and protect the infrastructure that keeps the world's most important systems running, from substations and power systems to mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications design.
We're a remote-first team of experienced professionals who value technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration. Most CFG roles are fully remote; our owner's project management team works on-site at client locations. At CFG, you'll work on complex, high-impact projects alongside people who care about doing the work right.

Coordinate designs with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and facility teams.
Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, and resolve construction-phase design issues.
Support occasional site observations during construction.
Contribute to the development of CFG's telecommunications design standards, details, and best practices.
Demonstrated inside-plant telecommunications design experience in data centers or similarly complex technical facilities.
Typically 5+ years of telecommunications design experience.
Proficiency in Revit.
Ability to independently develop, coordinate, and deliver complete telecommunications design packages.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards, telecommunications spaces, and pathway design.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) certification.
Experience designing data center telecommunications rooms and meet-me rooms.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
We're a growing team of engineers and project leaders focused on data centers and mission-critical facilities. At CFG, you'll take ownership of telecommunications designs for projects where reliability matters, collaborate with engineers who understand the entire facility, and help shape our growing telecommunications design capabilities.
