Position Title: Part-time Outpatient/PHP General Psychiatrist

Location: Gulfport, MS (Tele-psychiatry or on-site)

Gulfport Behavioral provides a full range of treatment options, including outpatient therapy, day treatment and inpatient services for children as young as 4 years of age, adolescents, and adults.  Position Overview:

• Role: Part-time Outpatient/PHP position, 20 hours per week. 
• Patient Population: ages 18 and older 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 12 PM - 4 PM CST 
• Caseload: will vary
• Employment Type: Part-time hourly position 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for patients.
• Participate in  treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate

Qualifications:

• Education: Board Certification in General Psychiatry.
• Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Licensure: Mississippi medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience: Must be comfortable treating child-adult populations. 
• Leadership: Participation in meetings when requested by CEO.
