Technical Solution Architect (Azure & Enterprise Platforms)

About the Project
For one of our international clients, one of Europe's largest retail and supply chain organizations, we are looking for a Technical Solution Architect to join the Technical Architecture team.
The role focuses on designing and governing end-to-end enterprise architectures across cloud, infrastructure, networking, integration, identity, and security while supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
•Design and govern end-to-end technical architectures across cloud, infrastructure, networking, integration, identity, security, and data platforms.
•Define architecture standards, reference architectures, roadmaps, and governance processes.
•Lead architecture reviews, technology assessments, and transformation initiatives.
•Design Azure and hybrid cloud environments, including landing zones, Kubernetes, containers, compute, storage, monitoring, and observability.
•Design networking and integration architectures, including APIs, Kafka, Service Bus, Event Grid, ETL, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancing.
•Define identity and security architectures using Entra ID, SSO, RBAC, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and Zero Trust principles.
•Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, security, and delivery teams to ensure scalable and secure technical solutions.
•Produce technical architecture documentation, including architecture blueprints, technical architecture documents (TADs), security designs, data flow diagrams, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
Requirements
•Minimum 6 years of experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect within complex enterprise environments.
•Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
•Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, API Management, Kafka, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
•Strong knowledge of networking, integration, identity, and security concepts.

Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and Zero Trust.
•Experience defining architecture standards, governance processes, design patterns, and conducting architecture reviews.
•Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
•Experience with Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, and/or Draw.io.
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
•Fluent English is required.
•Dutch or French is considered an advantage.
