You will be the technical and business partner authority within Akamai's ThreatOps and Vulnerability Management function. This is a high-level Individual Contributor role focused on understanding internal customers' needs, interpreting their functional requirements and working with the Dev team to deliver value. You will go beyond the technical aspect to build imagination and design intelligent, automated Threat Management systems. that protect our data and user community by leveraging emerging technologies.

As a Technical Lead of Business Operations, you will build processes and relationships to help ThreatOps and Vulnerability Management work effectively across the organization and drive initiatives to improve engagement, program and product maturity, visibility, and reporting.

As a Technical Lead of Business Operations, you will be:

• Being a customer middleware between the security teams, the BU's liaisons, and other internal customers
• Driving surveys and roundtables for feedback, run BU reviews, and hold training and awareness sessions
• Providing clarity on the roadmap for new features for internal products, additional developments,
• Leading the strategic roadmap for VM tools and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business priorities, engineering capacity, and security outcomes
• Converting user feedback, operational gaps, and security needs into clear user stories and prioritized backlogs for teams (and vendors)
• Creating onboarding guides, documentation, workshops, and release notes to help teams use VM tools effectively and consistently
• Leading assessments of new capabilities, manage design documentation, champion automation, tool optimization, and platform enhancements
• Preparing executive updates, highlight risks and achievements, define strategic investments, and lead long-term maturity and planning
• Collaborating with engineering, developers, and other teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have prior Program Management/Project Management experience, ideally in the Cyber-Security/ Vulnerability Management industry
• Have prior experience leading or playing key roles in designing, implementing, and supporting tools for internal customers
• Have excellent presentation skills and the ability to simplify complex technologies and topics into easy-to-understand information for an executive audience
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including acting as a facilitator and having contingency planning
• Have experience in project, product, and process planning and managing, estimating time and effort, and providing clear status updates
