Bristlecone Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for its Cloud Development – Delivery team to spearhead cloud and application engineering projects across the United States. The role blends deep technical expertise with project management acumen to design, implement, and deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, align technical roadmaps with business objectives, and ensure high‑quality delivery within schedule and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute cloud architecture strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through the full project lifecycle, from planning to production.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best‑practice standards.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
  • Conduct performance tuning and cost‑optimization of cloud resources.
  • Report progress and metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and application development.
  • Proven track record as a technical lead or project manager on large‑scale cloud initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP services and architecture patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and automation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and reliability issues.
  • US work authorization and willingness to work onsite/remote as required.
