We're looking for a Technical Lead to join our Building Automation Services team! This position will focus on executing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to detail, concern for correctness of work, and strong commitment to customer satisfaction. The person in this position will have a strong sense of duty and discipline. The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.
General Job Duties:
- Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on controls and SCADA systems common in data center, power generation, and advanced manufacturing industries.
- Designing, developing, and implementing automated process solutions for data center, power generation, and advanced manufacturing facilities
- Be an active project team contributor for projects of all sizes
- Assisting in project development, planning, and engineering.
- Supporting onsite start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning assistance for site teams.
- Building training curriculum to set site teams up for success.
- Required pre-employment drug screen and background check
- This position requires occasional, but not extensive, travel
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (ChE, EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable). An equivalent combination of experience and training may also be considered.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with:
- SCADA platforms (Ignition, AVEVA, Schneider PSO)
- PLC platforms experience preferred (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens)
- Field start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution schemes, UPS, power metering, and relay monitoring.
- Understanding of Electrical Schematics, instrumentation, and control concepts
- Control Systems implementation, design, installs, testing, and troubleshooting
- Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, 61850)
- Acute attention to detail and process, Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions with an excellent customer service attitude

The target annual base compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000, based upon relevant qualifications.
