The Technical Business Analyst will gather and document detailed client requirements and functional specifications for the SwiftAssess product. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the product backlog and ensure the delivered solutions align with business objectives.
This is a remote position.
5+ years of hands-on experience in documenting client requirements and writing business end-to-end functionality for Enterprise systems.
Requirements Induction: Conduct thorough and detailed sessions with clients and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze existing business requirements for the SwiftAssess product.
Requirements Analysis: Analyze gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, concise, complete, consistent, and traceable.
End-to-End Functionality Documentation: Document detailed end-to-end business workflows and system functionality, including process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications, with a focus on how they relate to SwiftAssess.
Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects client needs and business value.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and quality assurance teams to ensure a shared understanding of client requirements and the proposed solution within SwiftAssess.
Solution Design: Contribute to the design of SwiftAssess features and functionalities, ensuring they align with client requirements and business objectives.
Communication: Effectively communicate requirements and functional specifications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Validation and Testing: Participate in the validation and testing phases to ensure that the delivered SwiftAssess functionality meets the defined requirements.
Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the SwiftAssess product, its features, and its underlying architecture.
Market Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in assessing software and related technologies to inform requirements gathering and solution design for SwiftAssess.
Requirements
Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst in the software industry.
Experience working with assessment software or in the education technology sector is highly desirable.
