We at Coforge are hiring Tech Lead Java Engineer with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale, distributed backend systems with multi-tiered architecture, concurrency, and high availability.
- Independently translate complex functional and non-functional requirements into robust, efficient, and scalable backend solutions aligned with system architecture.
- Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle — including system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and practices (e.g., AI-assisted code review, GenAI-driven documentation, intelligent test generation) to improve team productivity and code quality.
- Create and maintain comprehensive and usable technical documentation.
- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and advocate for engineering best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior, mid-level, and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Actively participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17+).
- Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Expertise in Hibernate / JPA.
- Experience with containers such as Docker, and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, EKS).
- Experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (relational).
- Proven experience building microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of AWS Serverless Architecture: Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, VPC.
- Experience with GenAI tools and practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development workflows.
