About the Role:
Forge Digital Inc. is seeking a Teamcenter Architect to join our growing PLM practice. In this
role, you will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter
solutions for clients in the aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing sectors. You
will serve as the primary technical owner across implementation engagements —
translating complex business requirements into reliable, scalable PLM architectures.
What You'll Do:
• Lead end-to-end Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, and migrations for mid-to-large
enterprise clients.
• Design and document Teamcenter architecture, including data models, workflows, access
controls, and integrations.
• Configure Teamcenter modules including BMIDE, Active Workspace (AWC), Classification,
Workflow Designer, and Structure Manager.
• Develop and maintain ITK and SOA customizations using C++, Java, and XML.
• Integrate Teamcenter with NX CAD, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and third-party tools via
APIs and middleware.
• Conduct requirements workshops with engineering, IT, and program management
stakeholders.
• Perform system administration duties including installation, patching, environment
management, and performance tuning.
• Author technical design documents, data migration plans, and test strategies.
• Support junior consultants and serve as a technical escalation point during delivery.
• Collaborate with Forge leadership on proposal development, scope definition, and level-of-
effort estimation.
What You Bring:
• 5–10 years of hands-on Teamcenter implementation and configuration experience.
• Deep proficiency in BMIDE data modeling, workflow configuration, and Active Workspace
customization.
• Experience with ITK customization (C/C++) and Teamcenter SOA / RAC development.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter architecture patterns: multi-site, FSC, dispatcher, indexing
services.
• Practical experience integrating Teamcenter with NX and at least one ERP system.
• Strong command of Linux/Windows server environments and enterprise deployment
practices.
• Ability to gather and translate requirements independently — you can run a workshop
without hand-holding.
• Excellent written communication skills; capable of producing clear technical documentation.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (clients operate in ITAR-controlled
environments).
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) UI customization and Mashup
framework.
• Exposure to Teamcenter Supplier Collaboration, Product Cost Management, or Simulation
Process Management.
• Familiarity with MBSE tooling, systems engineering methodologies, or aerospace/defense
PLM standards.
• Experience with Teamcenter on cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
• Siemens Teamcenter certification.
Why Forge Digital:
• Focused, specialist firm — you work on Teamcenter every day, with clients who need
real expertise.
• Aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing clients — technically complex,
high-impact engagements.
• Direct access to leadership and meaningful input on how projects are shaped and
delivered.
• Competitive base salary, benefits, and a performance bonus tied to delivery outcomes.
