JOB OVERVIEW

COLORS has succeeded in building a platform that has created a safe space for creatives to share their art and vision. We are currently looking for a talented & passionate Curation Manager -  with a focus on the U.S. Market - to serve as one of our expert curators selecting artists & music for our COLORS shows, showcasing exceptional upcoming talent. You’ll assist on adding to our talent radar and provide a deep cultural understanding where music is going.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Research, identify, and recommend emerging artists, labels, and creative camps aligned with and challenge COLORS’ artistic vision and strategy.
  • Contribute in shaping long-term artist programming by monitoring trends, scouting and tracking new talent, and building relationships within the US music and creative ecosystem.
  • Maintain an alumni artist overview database to track past collaborators and inform future curation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of all curation-related projects.


TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

  • 3+ years work experience in music programming, A&R, or a related role
  • Has demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the US music industry as well as a variety of international music styles and genres
  • Is culturally connected, with a passion for artistic development. 
  • Commercially aware and attuned to both the COLORS brand and the wider landscape of music, culture, art and lifestyle
  • Has the ability to use and visualize data to inform and drive decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and is approachable by nature
  • Have a profound network amongst emerging artists, producers, A&Rs and cultural voices to bring an artist at the right time to COLORS
