Job Summary: 

Areas of responsibility for the Supply Chain Analyst includes tracking and reconciling the return of customer and Burroughs-owned assets, arranging for the pick-up of assets from vendors or customer sites, assisting with the system set-up of for new field technicians, reporting performance metrics.  Analysts are expected to participate in company efforts to implement continuous improvement initiatives and consolidate systems. This is a remote position.

 

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities: 

  • Process Inventory transactions necessary to move assets between BRC/Main Warehouse    locations to 3PL and field technician sites 
  • Prepare reporting metrics for departmental key performance indicators. 
  • Receive parts from field technicians into the BRC repair system database 
  • Communicate receiving discrepancies with Field Operations.    
  • Reconcile customer owned inventory received at the wrong location and work with other Logistics Analysts to ensure parts get returned to the proper place 
  • Provide feedback to Repair Operations Manager on parts needed at 3PL locations 
  • Prepare product not yet supported or product with excess demand for shipment to 3 party repair vendors. 
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous process improvements within Supply Chain.  
  • Assist with training Field Operations personnel on proper part return procedures for Burroughs customers. 
  • Prepare reporting metrics for departmental key performance indicators. 
  • Participate in efforts to integrate ERP systems. 
  • Other related tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Prior logistics or equivalent business experience required. 
  • Standard Microsoft applications, including Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred 

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand. The team member is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.  
  • The team member is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. 
  • The team member must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
