Supervisor, RCM Patient Receivables

Imagen Dental Partners is adding a new role due to growth!

We are a looking for a RCM Patient Receivables Supervisor to join our revenue team and support our dynamic Partner Doctors.

The Impact You Will Make:

As an independent RCM Patient Receivables Supervisor, you will drive impact across all Imagen practices by supervise and take ownership of the patient collection process. Reporting to the Patient Receivables Manager, you'll own the relationships and the strategy to maintain compliance with Imagen policies, optimize workflow efficiency, resolve complex patient accounts receivables (AR), and implement innovative solutions that directly improve our revenue cycle performance.

• Reduce aged patient AR and improve collections performance at time of service.
• Build and maintain relationships with our Operators, regional managers and partner doctors.
• Create more consistent and efficient billing workflows.
• Identify and eliminate recurring process issues.
• Strengthen partnerships between RCM, practices, and vendors.
• Learn to utilize AI to automate the process to make our operators processes automated and seamless. 
• Build scalable processes that support Imagen’s continued growth.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing patient accounts receivable and revenue cycle processes in healthcare or dental settings.
• Strong understanding of how patient billing, collections, and revenue cycle processes work together.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze billing data, identify trends and root causes, and implement improvements based on your findings.
• Experience solving complex patient billing problems by working with different teams across your organization.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate effectively with team members, and solve problems on your own.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and move projects forward through effective collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare or dental billing, collections, or revenue cycle management.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience supporting multi-location or multi-site healthcare/dental organizations.
• Experience with dental practice management systems (like Denticon or Pearly) or revenue cycle management software.
• Experience with Freshservice or other ticketing/workflow management systems.
• Experience managing or partnering with third-party collections agencies and AR vendors.
• Experience creating performance metrics and plans that measure and improve billing and collections results.
• Experience introducing new systems, workflows, or vendors across multiple office locations.
• Knowledge of dental insurance, patient billing, EFT/payment processes, and healthcare billing compliance.
• Experience using data to find opportunities and improve billing collections and revenue cycle performance.
