The Medical Director provides clinical supervision for nurse practitioners across multiple states and ensures the quality of medical services delivered. Responsibilities include conducting monthly chart reviews, responding to clinical inquiries, and maintaining consistency in medical standards of practice.

Spakinect is looking for a Medical Director to fill a Supervising Physician position who is licensed in the states of California (CA), Texas (TX), Georgia (GA), AND Virginia (VA). Additional desired licenses include NC, IL, MO, IN, OH, PA, TN, NJ, FL, WI, AR, & MI. The ideal candidate for this role will need to have full availability to take on multiple Nurse Practitioners under their supervision for each state, fulfilling 8 slots in Georgia, and 6 slots in Virginia.
This role is a part-time contractor position. It requires monthly chart review and availability by phone during clinic hours to serve as the primary resource for all medical questions of staff. The ideal candidate will have an excellent customer care disposition, be team-oriented, and have high integrity. The Medical Director directs and supervises the overall quality of medical services delivered by the treatment providers, acts as a liaison between all providers and the company, and actively serves as a continuous source of clinical information.
The Medical Director is responsible for:
Responding to medical issues and questions from the providers
Ensuring consistency in our medical standards of practice relating to the TeleHealth program.
Receive and review Incident Reports and respond following company policy.
Review and sign charts for accuracy and completeness and generally keep up with the medical needs of the business.
Additional Role Functions:
Develop treatment plans using protocols for guidance
Maintain CME and other coursework requirements for maintaining state medical licenses
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities, as needed
Requirements
What you'll need:
Board Certification
Licensed to practice medicine inCalifornia, Texas, Georgia, ANDVirginia; additional licenses in other states is a plus!
Must have space on their supervision roster to oversee eight (8) NPs in Georgia and six (6) NPs in Virginia.
Background check free of any hindrances to obtaining medical licensure in additional states.
Able to promptly do the activities necessary to expedite licensing requirements, such as obtain fingerprints; obtain references from former employer(s); etc.
