Position Summary

Bold Magazine is seeking a talented and driven Staff Writer to produce engaging, accurate, and original editorial content. You'll research, interview industry leaders, and write compelling stories that resonate with a global audience. This is a fully remote role for candidates based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit high-quality feature articles, profiles, interviews, and explainers.

• Pitch original story ideas aligned with Bold Magazine's editorial strategy.

• Conduct interviews with founders, executives, investors, creators, and industry experts.

• Verify facts and ensure editorial accuracy before publication.

• Collaborate with editors to refine content and maintain editorial standards.

• Meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments.

• Write SEO-friendly digital content for the magazine's website.

• Support newsletters and social media with editorial content when needed.

• Stay informed on trends across business, startups, technology, leadership, AI, and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

• 1–3 years of professional writing, journalism, or editorial experience.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

• Strong research and interviewing abilities.

• Ability to simplify complex topics for a broad audience.

• Familiarity with AP Style is preferred.

• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.

• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
