Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary
We're looking for a Staff AI Engineer to lead the development and technical direction of an
advanced AI-powered healthcare platform. This role is ideal for an experienced AI engineer who
enjoys designing production-grade AI systems, building reliable multi-model architectures, and
solving complex real-world problems. You'll own the AI strategy, establish best practices, and
develop scalable systems that prioritize reliability, accuracy, and safety.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1 level Minimum).
  ● Enthusiastic, positive attitude, eager to work with others and solve problems.
  ● Proven experience developing production AI systems using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented
  Generation (RAG), and modern AI frameworks.
  ● Strong experience building and deploying machine learning systems beyond generative
  AI.
  ● Demonstrated success designing orchestrated multi-model and agentic AI applications.
  ● Experience creating AI evaluation frameworks, observability systems, and model
  guardrails.
  ● Strong understanding of AI architecture, system design, and production engineering best
  practices.
  ● Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
  ● Experience fine-tuning large language models is a plus.
  ● Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining strong
  engineering judgment.
  ● Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  ● Demonstrates ownership, accountability, precision, and the ability to thrive in a
  fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of production AI systems and technical architecture.
  ● Build and optimize multi-model AI pipelines and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  workflows.
  ● Establish technical direction for AI initiatives across the engineering organization.
  ● Design and maintain AI evaluation frameworks, observability tools, and model safety
  guardrails.
  ● Ensure AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and grounded in trustworthy data.
  ● Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical implementations.
  ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality AI-powered products.
  ● Utilize AI tools to improve engineering efficiency while maintaining software quality.
  ● Continuously improve AI performance, system architecture, and engineering processes.
  ● Help establish long-term AI engineering standards and best practices across the
  organization
