Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Backend Developer to join a technology-driven team working on the design, development, and evolution of modern microservices-based applications. You will contribute to scalable backend solutions, collaborate with frontend teams using React, and participate in cloud-native deployments leveraging OpenShift and containerized environments.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and consume REST APIs following best practices.
- Develop microservices-based solutions and contribute to system scalability.
- Deploy, monitor, and operate applications in OpenShift environments.
- Collaborate with React frontend teams to ensure seamless service integration.
- Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support continuous integration activities.
- Analyze incidents and propose performance, scalability, and security improvements.
- Work within Agile teams following Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in backend development with Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience working with microservices architectures.
- Experience with Cassandra databases.
- Knowledge of Docker containers and OpenShift platforms.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience using Git version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Nice to Have:
- Frontend development experience with React.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
