What this Journey Looks Like

Pearster is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a Canadian FinTech client. This role is ideal for a highly experienced SRE who has a strong background in infrastructure reliability and database migrations.

The selected candidate will work closely with a new technical leader who reports directly to Gaston and will play a key role in ensuring reliable system operations while supporting SQL Server database migration initiatives.

What You'll Lead and Build

• Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems.

• Support and execute SQL Server database migration projects.

• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term reliability improvements.

• Contribute to operational excellence and SRE best practices.

What You Bring to the Table

• Advanced English

• Senior-level experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proven experience performing SQL Server database migrations.

• Experience working in complex production environments.

• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
