The role involves managing and optimizing DLA's Okta environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of network software. The administrator will direct other system administrators and resolve complex connectivity and software issues for end-users.
About the role
Ensures the stable operation of DLA’s Okta environments, including planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links within DLA’s Okta footprint. Directs the configuration and operation of DLA’s Okta and the work of other system administrators providing day-to-day administration.
What you'll do
Organize and direct the configuration and operation of DLA’s Okta environment.
Analyze and resolve end-user softwareprogram and connectivity issues.
Conduct capacity and performance analysis and recommend system configuration changes and upgrades.
Increase administrator efficiency and accuracy through automated tools and scripts; develop administratorprocedures; and conduct administrator training and skills assessment.
Provide end-user training and recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
Provide local and remote maintenance support, including general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
Direct the work of other system administrators, including system and resource optimization and userassistance.
Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
Required Qualifications
US Citizen
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
Five (5) years of overallprofessional experience supporting Okta environments withprogressively higher responsibility in the IT field.
Fully trained with demonstrable experience deploying andmaintainingOkta environments for large enterprises, and well-versed in configuring Okta integrations with enterprise technologies such as Active Directory, firewalls, APIs, and Zero Trust endpoints.
Relevant Okta certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Mustpossessan IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time ofproposal submission.
