Role and Responsibilities	Security Clearance: Active Secret (eligible for Top Secret) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications in the realm of Identity, Credential and Access Management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices. The Senior Java Developer will collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications and services. Lead the development of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party systems and services. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Perform code reviews and security assessments. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices. Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications	Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java. Strong expertise in: Java 11/17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA Experience designing and implementing microservices-based applications. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services. Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Experience with No-SQL databases such as MongoDB Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes Experience with messaging platforms: Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions Experience with developing applications that can meet NIST 500-53, FedRAMP security controls for moderate and high categorization. Experience with tools such as Tenable, SonarQube, and best practices based on OWASP. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus Proficiency with Git and version control systems. Programming Languages: Java, SQL, JavaScript Frameworks & Technologies: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Microservices Tools: Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines
Preferred Qualifications	Experience with: Thales Luna HSM, Azure Managed HSM, Crypto technologies related to encryption, hashing, digital signature, number generators, and key derivation Knowledge of: PKCS#11, JCE/JCA Providers, Key Escrow, Key Rotation, Secure Key Storage Troubleshoot PKI, certificate, HSM, and cryptographic integration issues. Programming Languages: Java, SQL, JavaScript Frameworks & Technologies: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Microservices Tools: Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines
