Description
We are seeking a talented Prismic CMS Specialist/Front-End Developer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with Prismic headless CMS and modern front-end technologies to build and maintain content-driven web experiences for enterprise clients. You will work closely with client stakeholders and internal Rightpoint teams.

As a Prismic CMS Specialist / Front-End Developer you will lead front-end development and CMS operations for enterprise web projects. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Serve as the primary Prismic CMS specialist - build and maintain Slice Machine components, custom types, and content models that empower marketing teams to self-serve content updates
  • Manage content scheduling, preview environments, and publishing workflows within Prismic
  • Develop and maintain the Next.js (App Router) front end, including React Server Components, SSR, and ISR
  • Build and style UI components using Chakra UI, ensuring consistency with the existing design system
  • Implement new landing pages, feature sections, pricing tables, app listings, industry pages, and promotional banners
  • Ensure pixel-perfect, responsive layouts across all breakpoints (desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile)
  • Optimize images via Next/Image and the Prismic image CDN for fast load times (AVIF/WebP, lazy loading)
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and maintain high Lighthouse scores
  • Manage and troubleshoot the AWS hosting environment and CloudFront CDN configuration
  • Implement and maintain structured data (JSON-LD), meta tags, Open Graph, and canonical URLs for SEO
  • Integrate analytics and tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, ad platform tracking)
  • Ramp up quickly on existing codebases and ensure smooth onboarding and knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with client product and marketing teams, as well as Rightpoint designers and project managers
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative, high-quality engineering culture
What We’d Love to See
  • 3–5+ years of professional front-end or full-stack web development experience
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Prismic CMS (Slice Machine, custom types, content modeling, @prismicio/client SDK, preview/release workflows)
  • Proficiency with React.js and Next.js (App Router, SSR, SSG, ISR, React Server Components)
  • Experience building and theming with Chakra UI (or similar component libraries such as Mantine or Material UI)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Lambda@Edge or CloudFront Functions) for hosting and CDN management
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, structured data, and web analytics integration
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills - comfortable working with a remote, cross-functional team
  • Ability to work 45 hours per week as part of a dedicated client engagement
Some Cool Extra’s:
  • Prior agency experience supporting ongoing web operations and maintenance for enterprise clients
  • Experience onboarding onto an existing codebase and ramping up quickly

  • Experience working in agile teams
  • Prismic or AWS certifications
