Sr. Content Editor

About the Role

The Sr. Content Editor is responsible for crafting high-quality engaging content for video or podcast that elevates the brand and supports marketing initiatives. This role combines technical expertise, creative storytelling, and attention to detail to produce visually compelling content that aligns with the brand’s tone, goals, and audience expectations.

Your Key Contributions

• Edit and produce a variety of content, including marketing campaigns, brand stories, social media clips, and internal communications.
• Collaborate closely with the Video Manager and creative team to interpret briefs, develop narratives, and execute visually cohesive content.
• Perform advanced editing tasks including color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, visual consistency, and platform specifications.
• Manage and organize media assets, ensuring efficient workflow from raw footage to final output.
• Incorporate AI-driven tools and technologies into editing workflows to improve efficiency, creativity, and production quality.
• Provide creative input during pre-production and post-production to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
• Mentor and support junior editors, freelancers, or contractors to ensure alignment with brand and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt content for multiple platforms, formats, and audiences.
• Stay up-to-date on video editing trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously evolve creative output.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-6 years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or related creative roles.
• Demonstrated experience producing high-quality content for marketing, brand, or digital platforms.
• Experience collaborating with creative teams, producers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

• A modern processor (Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 from the last few years)
• Windows 11 (kept up to date)

For Mac Users:

• A modern processor (Apple M1 chip or a recent Intel Core i5)
• A recent macOS (Ventura or newer)

For Everyone:

• At least 8 GB of memory (RAM) to run applications smoothly
• A fast hard drive with sufficient available storage
