We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sound Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will enhance player immersion through high-quality sound effects and ambient audio, especially for mobile and web games. You will work closely with developers and designers to ensure all audio assets not only sound great but are optimized, varied, and seamlessly integrated into gameplay.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce high-quality sound effects for:
    • UI interactions (button clicks, transitions, rewards, etc.)
    • Player actions (jumps, collisions, item pickups, etc.)
    • Ambient/environmental sounds as needed
  • Compose or arrange 1–2 looping background tracks optimized for casual and mobile gameplay.
  • Provide multiple variations of sound effects to prevent repetitiveness and maintain engagement.
  • Optimize all audio for mobile/web performance (compression, looping, correct formats).
  • Collaborate closely with developers and designers to integrate and test sounds within the game engine.
  • Maintain organized source files and deliver game-ready compressed audio files (WAV, OGG, MP3).
  • Participate in iteration processes by incorporating feedback to improve audio quality and balance.

Desirable Skills and Experience
Must-haves:
  • Proven experience in sound design and audio production for mobile/web games.
  • Strong proficiency in audio editing tools (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, etc.).
  • Understanding of sound optimization techniques for performance (compression, seamless looping).
  • Familiarity with implementing audio in game engines such as Unity.
  • Ability to create both SFX and simple background music tracks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous game audio work.

Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience working on casino, casual, or hyper-casual games.
  • Familiarity with audio middleware tools like FMOD or Wwise.
  • Knowledge of mixing/mastering techniques and adaptive audio systems.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
