What You’ll Do
- Assess current source systems, data flows, integrations, reporting flows, and architectural constraints
- Identify data fragmentation, architecture gaps, platform risks, and key dependencies
- Define the target-state / North Star data platform architecture
- Evaluate platform options such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, or comparable technologies
- Recommend platform and toolchain direction based on business value, technical fit, cost, scalability, EU data residency, and operational feasibility
- Define integration patterns, data movement principles, and data platform building blocks
- Support AI readiness assessment from an architecture and data foundation perspective
- Provide input into data governance, access, security, and compliance principles
- Assess technical feasibility of prioritized use cases
- Support Phase 2 roadmap, implementation sequencing, and high-level sizing
What You Bring
- Strong background in enterprise data architecture and cloud data platforms
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar ecosystems
- Experience designing data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, integration layers, and analytics platforms
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, access management, and compliance considerations
- Ability to assess fragmented enterprise landscapes quickly
- Strong client-facing communication skills
Nice to Have
- Manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, finance, or multi-site enterprise experience
- ERP, CRM, MES, reporting, or operational systems integration experience
- Experience with AI readiness, ML/AI platforms, GenAI enablement, or data products
