Rand Group is seeking a Solution Architect to lead enterprise Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations for clients with complex scheduling, resource optimization, and mobile workforce requirements. This role owns solution architecture across the Field Service application, Power Platform, and Field Service Mobile, and is expected to bring a strong, current understanding of AI-enabled scheduling and service capabilities to client engagements.

Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and design for Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations, from discovery through go-live and hyper care
- Architect resource scheduling and optimization solutions, including Universal Resource Scheduling, the Schedule Board, and Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO)
- Design end-to-end Power Platform solutions incorporating Power Pages, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse to support field operations
- Architect and configure Field Service Mobile experiences, including offline scenarios, mobile forms, and technician workflows
- Design integrations between Field Service and Business Central, Finance & Operations, ERP, or third-party asset and inventory systems
- Evaluate and design AI-enabled scheduling, predictive maintenance, and service optimization capabilities within the Field Service application
- Produce solution architecture documentation, functional design specifications, and technical roadmaps for client and internal stakeholders
- Lead technical discovery workshops with client operations, dispatch, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable designs
- Mentor consultants and developers on Field Service solution design standards, ALM practices, and Power Platform governance
- Support pre-sales scoping and estimation for new and expanding Field Service engagements
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 Field Service, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, or a related field
- Strong hands-on expertise in resource scheduling and optimization, including Universal Resource Scheduling and Resource Scheduling Optimization
- Deep experience with the Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Automate, and Dataverse solution architecture
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Field Service Mobile, including offline capability and mobile form design
- Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale implementations involving multiple system integrations
- Practical understanding of AI capabilities relevant to field service operations, such as AI-assisted scheduling, predictive maintenance, or Copilot-enabled service scenarios
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops and present to operational and executive stakeholders
- Experience estimating and scoping engagements in a consulting or professional services environment
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, priorities, and client stakeholders in a consulting environment
- Experience mentoring consultants and contributing to team development, resource planning, and delivery excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating Field Service with Business Central or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including dual-write or custom integration approaches
- Background in IoT-based or connected field service scenarios
- Experience with Power Apps Code Apps or code-first extensions to the Power Platform
- Prior consulting experience at a Microsoft implementation partner
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub-based ALM pipelines for Power Platform solutions
