Overview :

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions in the insurance domain, with a strong focus on Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, translating requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions.

The architect plays a key client-facing role, confidently presenting solutions, building customer trust, and guiding delivery teams to ensure alignment with architecture standards and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Solution Design & Architecture

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures leveraging LCNC platforms and enterprise systems.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.

  • Define solution blueprints including application architecture, integration patterns (APIs, microservices), and data flows/system interactions.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

  1. Insurance Domain Alignment

  • Leverage strong knowledge of insurance processes and systems, including Policy Administration, Claims Management, Underwriting, Billing, and Distribution.

  • Design solutions aligned to insurance-specific requirements, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices.

  • Provide domain-driven recommendations to optimize business processes.

  1. LCNC Platform Expertise

  • Architect and implement solutions using Low-Code/No-Code platforms such as OutSystems, Appian, Mendix, Pega, and similar tools.

  • Ensure optimal use of platform capabilities for speed, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Define governance and guardrails for LCNC adoption within the enterprise.

  1. Business-to-Technology Translation

  • Convert business requirements into tangible deliverables such as solution components, workflows, and features.

  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.

  • Ensure traceability from requirements to solution design and final delivery.

  1. Client Engagement & Solution Presentation

  • Engage directly with customers to present solution approaches, architecture designs, and technical strategies.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.

  • Build customer confidence by demonstrating solution feasibility, scalability, and business value.

  • Address client concerns and incorporate feedback effectively.

  1. Team Leadership & Delivery Oversight

  • Guide and mentor architecture and delivery teams on design principles and implementation approaches.

  • Ensure development aligns with approved architecture and design standards.

  • Review technical deliverables and ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

  • Support teams in resolving complex technical issues.

  1. Governance, Risk & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to architecture governance frameworks and security standards.

  • Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.

  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles.

  • Strong experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.

  • Proven experience implementing LCNC platforms in enterprise environments.

  • Experience in client-facing roles.

Core Competencies

  • Deep understanding of insurance systems and value chain.

  • Strong expertise in LCNC platforms such as Appian, OutSystems, Mendix, Pega, and similar tools.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture and deliverables.

  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to build client confidence and influence decisions.



Requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with core insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, and similar systems.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

  • Familiarity with Agile / SAFe methodologies.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Solution architecture documents and blueprints.

  • LCNC platform design and implementation guidelines.

  • Integration and data flow diagrams.

  • Technical design reviews and governance artifacts.

  • Customer presentations and solution walkthroughs.
