Software Engineer

Job Objective:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building and improving our core products, contributing directly to the development of scalable and efficient solutions.

To succeed in this role, you should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment. You will be expected to take ownership of features, contribute to technical decisions, and continuously improve both code quality and system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Build and integrate backend services and APIs using modern web standards.
• Design and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.
• Contribute to documentation of processes, systems, and technical decisions.
• Take ownership of assigned features from development to deployment.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and developer workflows.
  
  
   

Requirements: 

• +3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of backend development and API design (REST).
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud providers.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and code reviews.
• Practical experience using AI tools and technologies (e.g., AI-assisted development, automation, prompt engineering, or integration of AI APIs) to improve productivity and/or product capabilities.
• Experience building products from scratch.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Nice to have:

• ​​Experience with serverless architectures or microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments.
• Experience integrating AI/ML features into products.
• Exposure to analytics, automation, or operational tooling.
