About The Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our Product Engineering Team of our VeriLoan Loan Origination solution built on Microsoft D365 and the Power Platform This role involves technical leadership, and hands-on oversight of development processes to deliver a scalable high-quality product. The ideal candidate is experienced in designing enterprise-grade applications, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing software engineering team environment

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage the VeriLoan product engineering team working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • Own end-to-end engineering delivery for VeriLoan, ensuring predictable releases, high quality, and production stability.
  • Define and enforce technical standards, coding practices, and architectural principles to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • Drive effective Agile ways of working including sprint planning, execution, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement through retrospectives.
  • Define, monitor, and improve key engineering KPIs such as cycle time, lead time, defect trends, rework, deployment success rate, and technical debt.
  • Ensure strong engineering quality through disciplined code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and secure development standards.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to align roadmap, priorities, and engineering capacity.
  • Translate business priorities into clear engineering execution plans and realistic delivery commitments.
  • Plan team capacity, skills mix and hiring needs in collaboration with HR and technical leadership.
  • Build, scale, and develop a high-performing distributed engineering team with clear roles, responsibilities, and career paths.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development activities.
  • Act as the primary engineering representative for VeriLoan in stakeholder discussions and technical decision-making forums.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps and evaluate new capabilities in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure for product innovation.
  • Balance delivery speed, product quality, and production stability while managing technical debt.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the engineering team and across functions.
  • Clearly communicate technical strategies, progress, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience with .NET, C#, and Microsoft Power Platform (Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Plugins, APIs).
  • At least 5+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture, integration patterns, and Azure-based solutions.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe at scale and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring).
  • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and develop high-performing distributed engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade, mission critical applications in financial services or banking is a PLUS.
