Our social media presence is vital in sharing the Gracie Barra lifestyle, supporting franchisee growth, and engaging a passionate international community of students, instructors, and fans. We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Specialist to help us maintain a strong and consistent presence across our social platforms, collaborating closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Content Team.

The Social Media Specialist will support Gracie Barra’s marketing efforts by scheduling posts, engaging with our community, and helping maintain a high-quality, consistent digital presence. This remote role is ideal for a creative, organized, bilingual professional with a passion for martial arts, content, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish content on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook using Meta Business Suite
• Monitor and engage with community interactions (comments, DMs, tags, mentions)
• Respond to followers with clear, positive, and brand-aligned communication
• Flag issues or essential messages to the Marketing Coordinator
• Use tools like Canva to design simple visual content occasionally
• Track basic social media metrics and contribute to performance reports
  

Required Qualifications – Non-Negotiable

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Proven experience managing business social media accounts
  You must have hands-on experience operating branded accounts, especially on Instagram and Facebook (Meta). Experience creating, scheduling, and managing posts is essential.
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English
  This is a bilingual role. You’ll publish and respond to content in both languages and must communicate effectively with our global and Brazilian teams.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite
  You should be entirely comfortable using Meta’s publishing platform (or similar tools) to organize and schedule content.
• Familiarity with Canva (or similar tools)
  You should know how to create and edit simple, on-brand visuals quickly. Basic design skills are required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  We’re looking for someone who thrives in structured workflows, pays attention to detail, and takes initiative without being micromanaged.
• Strong passion for social media and digital trends
  You must love the fast-moving world of social content and stay up to date with what's working on platforms like Instagram Reels and Facebook Stories.
