Social Media Manager, Independent Contractor

TokPortal is building its network of independent Social Media Managers in the United States. In this role, you carry out clearly defined TikTok and Instagram assignments for social media projects, keep project accounts organised and submit completed work through our platform. You must currently live in the United States to apply for these country-specific opportunities.

Who we are

TokPortal is a software platform used to coordinate social media projects for brands, creators and agencies. Independent freelancers use it to find eligible missions, read instructions, deliver tasks and track compensation.

Responsibilities

• Follow the setup and access instructions for project-specific social media accounts when required by a mission.

• Publish supplied or approved project content with the captions, audio and timing specified in the brief.

• Complete the recurring account tasks included in assignments you accept.

• Check your assigned work, submit publishing links or requested proof, and report technical issues promptly.

Qualifications and equipment

• You reside in the United States and can perform location-specific work from the country.

• You have a smartphone, dependable internet access and practical familiarity with social media apps.

• You can follow written instructions, manage agreed deadlines and keep the team informed of problems.

• You can complete the required phone and country verification, plus identity checks where applicable, using the secure onboarding process.

• No particular degree or previous professional title is required. Each mission includes its own instructions.

Contract and compensation

This is an independent contractor opportunity, paid per task or mission. There is no fixed salary or guaranteed number of hours or assignments. You decide which available missions to accept; their scope, deadlines and offered compensation are shown beforehand. Work is paid through TokPortal after completion and review, subject to the applicable mission terms and payout requirements. There is no fee to apply or register.

Working with TokPortal

• Work remotely from the United States and select eligible assignments based on your availability.

• Use one workspace to review briefs, submit work and follow payment status.
