Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor

We are looking for a creative, energetic Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor who knows how to turn ideas, raw footage, and everyday business moments into engaging social media content.

This is a hands-on creative role. We need someone who can create high-quality Instagram Reels, TikToks, and short-form videos with dynamic editing, strong hooks, text overlays, music, transitions, and storytelling that keeps people watching.
 

What You'll Do

• Create and edit Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content
• Turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics
• Create strong hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds
• Develop creative concepts and regularly bring new content ideas
• Manage the social media content calendar and posting schedule
• Write short, engaging captions
• Repurpose existing footage into multiple pieces of content
• Stay on top of social media trends and identify formats we can adapt
• Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice
• Review engagement and content performance to continuously improve results

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience creating Reels, TikToks, and short-form video content
• Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and audience retention
• Ability to take a basic idea or raw footage and turn it into engaging content
• Creative and proactive — you bring ideas rather than waiting for detailed instructions
• Good English communication skills
• Reliable and comfortable working remotely
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple pieces of content simultaneously

Portfolio Required

Please submit 3–5 examples of short-form videos/Reels you personally created or edited.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can create content similar in quality and style to this:

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid video editing test using the same raw footage and creative brief.

The test will help us evaluate your:

• Creativity and storytelling
• First 3-second hook
• Editing and pacing
• Captions and visual elements
• Music and sound selection
• Ability to follow a creative reference while bringing your own ideas

Compensation

$1,500–$2,000 USD per month, depending on your experience, portfolio, and demonstrated video/content creation skills.

This is a full-time remote contractor opportunity.
