Location: Los Angeles, CA
Skin Gym is a female-founded beauty brand making skincare tools, beauty devices, and self-care essentials that bring the facial experience home. We’re looking for a Social Content Creator who can turn our products into content people stop scrolling for.
You’re the friend who films her skincare routine, tries every new beauty tool, and always has a content idea saved in her notes.
We’re looking for someone who loves making content—and can own the process from idea to final edit. You’ll film product demos, skincare routines, tutorials, trend-driven videos, and behind-the-scenes moments that feel natural, engaging, and unmistakably Skin Gym.
This is a hands-on creation role. You should be comfortable picking up your phone, getting on camera, and making something worth watching without needing a full production team.
Create daily. Concept, film, and edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social channels.
Be on camera. Demonstrate our tools and devices using your face, hands, and voice to make products easy to understand.
Make products feel relevant. Turn features into compelling routines, tutorials, first impressions, unboxings, and answers to common questions.
Spot trends and act quickly. Bring fresh ideas, relevant sounds, strong hooks, and new formats to the team each week.
Capture the brand. Film behind the scenes at our office, launches, events, and content shoots.
Create with purpose. Make content that encourages people to watch, save, share, ask questions, and shop.
Deliver usable assets. Organize raw footage and final edits so the social and paid marketing teams can use them.
Learn from performance. Review what’s working and use those insights to improve your next round of content.
2+ years creating social content for a beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle brand—or a strong track record as an independent creator.
A portfolio of short-form videos you personally concepted, filmed, and edited.
Confidence on camera and comfort demonstrating skincare tools and beauty devices.
Strong phone filming and editing skills, including CapCut and native platform tools.
Good instincts for hooks, lighting, framing, pacing, captions, and storytelling.
A real interest in skincare, beauty tools, and the conversations happening in the category.
The ability to manage deadlines, take feedback, and consistently deliver content with minimal oversight.
Experience creating product-focused UGC or paid social creative is a plus.
You’re resourceful, proactive, and always thinking about what to film next. You care about the details, move quickly, and take ownership of getting content finished. You’re comfortable bringing your own ideas while collaborating with our social and marketing teams.
Send your resume, social handles, and 3–5 examples of content you personally created to hello@skingymco.com . Tell us what you handled for each example and share one content idea you’d love to create for Skin Gym.
