Main purpose of the role:

  • Support a large-scale internal restructuring transaction, including asset and liability transfers across multiple business units
  • Work closely with project leads on key legal workstreams (due diligence, repapering, and coordination of advice)
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence across divisions, including preparing trackers, analysing findings, and supporting reporting
  • Assist with contract repapering, including reviewing, updating, and coordinating execution of client and vendor agreements
  • Help manage multi-jurisdictional input, including coordinating with external counsel and tracking foreign law advice
  • Provide general legal and project support, working with internal stakeholders across legal, compliance, finance, and business teams

Person specification:

  • 2–7 PQE qualified lawyer with strong transactional experience
  • Experience in multi-jurisdictional deals and coordinating external counsel
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
  • Financial services background preferred; AI tools exposure a plus
