JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We currently have an opportunity within the Disclosures Team that is focused on fulfilling the regulatory reporting requirements in line with the regulations including Substantial Shareholder position monitoring and disclosure, Short Position Monitoring and disclosure, Market Abuse Regulation, Takeover Panel moni-toring and Reporting and eliminate the risk of regulatory breaches across our global clientele. 

The day-to-day responsibilities of Shareholder Disclosures SME will include,

\   Responsible for monitoring global shareholder disclosure obligations across the regions of the UK, EMEA and              APAC.

\   Building knowledge on client data, security transactions and product types and applying the relevant rules to              ensure the disclosure obligations are well understood and complied

\   Responsible for preparing accurate and error-free disclosure forms and a daily dashboard, which will be submitted to our clients on a regular basis.

\   Ensure that all clients’ data files are received before processing the rules and meet SLA deadlines for Rules processing and Dashboard deliverables.

\   Track global shareholder disclosure rule changes and update in our rule engine, accordingly, notifying management as needed.

\    Maintain, implement, and continuously improve procedures and controls for shareholder disclosure.

\    Maintaining close communication with team members and lead

\    Collaborate with various business groups within the company to resolve data issues and implementing the projects.

\    Assist the lead in preparing MIs.

\    Responsible to track and update Issuer reporting thresholds, Global Takeover table and global

     regulatory changes in respective systems.



DESIRED CANDIDATE:

\  The ideal candidate should have a master’s degree and at least 5 plus years of experience in the financial service industry, preferably in Risk & Compliance monitoring and reporting.

\   2-3 years extensive experience with global major shareholding disclosures pertaining to APAC regions, particularly Australia, Singapore & Hong Kong.

\    Strong financial instrument product knowledge focusing on equities and equities related products.

\    Experiencing in dealing with large data set and problem-solving skills.

\    Ability to work under pressure with a sense of ownership and accountability.

\    Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Power Point.

\    Good English communication skills.
