We are looking for an incredibly curious individual who knows that AI is fundamentally changing search behaviour, as well as changing the fundamentals of how businesses operate!

We need your help to progress our journey in becoming one of the first fully accredited Claude partners in South Africa.

The position is fully remote, with flexible hours, but operates mainly during South African business hours.

Within the context of using AI for all our processes, your responsibilities will include:

1. Client Ownership: Be the go-to person for your clients. Take full ownership of your clients’ SEO performance by leading Zoom calls, sending thoughtful emails, and ensuring clients understand exactly how we’re helping them grow their revenue.
2. Strategy & Execution: Develop clever, revenue-focused SEO strategies that align with client goals; then direct the monthly work plan to ensure we’re driving revenue growth.
3. Client Communication: Lead engaging client meetings (mostly via Zoom), simplify the complex, and deliver clear, actionable insights that make clients feel like their SEO is in safe hands.
4. On-page & E-E-A-T specialist: Deep, demonstrable expertise in E-E-A-T and on-page optimisation. You need to really know this stuff, not just define E-E-A-T in an interview, but show us where you've applied on-page strategies in the past.
5. Reporting & Analysis: Produce insight-driven monthly reports that go beyond data dumps, pulling out meaningful insights, wins, and next steps using tools like GA4, GSC, Accuranker and Looker Studio.

The “must-haves”:

1. Minimum of 3 years’ dedicated agency experience specialising in SEO
2. Minimum of 3 client SEO case studies you can share with us
3. A university degree

The “nice-to-haves”:

1. Share clever ways you’re already using AI to get better quality (or more efficient) SEO results
2. A working knowledge of Accuranker (or similar), Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager & HTML code.
3. You’re learning-obsessed and can show recently completed learning courses.

Remuneration:

As the experience for this role can vary widely, the salary range is quite broad. R30,000 to R45,000 CTC. Other benefits include:

• 20 days’ annual leave;
• Fully remote (but operating on South African business hours);
• Flexible hours;
• Birthday off (no one should work on their b’day).

We're a digital marketing team of ten people primarily based in South Africa, with clients all over the world. We offer SEO, Google Ads, and UX work, all with one focus: to increase our clients' revenue.

We operate under two brands: CleverClicks Digital focuses primarily on health care; and Adventure Travel Digital focuses on multi-day adventure tour operators. We were established in 2007, and all our clients are international.
