Senior Webflow Developer

The Role

As a Senior Webflow Developer at BRIGHTSCOUT, you will own the architecture and implementation of complex Webflow websites for B2B tech companies.

You will translate advanced design systems into scalable, maintainable Webflow builds, define CMS structures that support growth, and ensure performance, accessibility, and technical SEO standards are met.

This is a client-facing role requiring deep Webflow expertise, strong front-end fundamentals, and the ability to independently drive high-quality execution while confidently representing BRIGHTSCOUT with clients in technical discussions and implementation decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and implementation of complex Webflow projects from discovery through launch.
• Translate advanced design systems into scalable, clean, and maintainable Webflow builds.
• Define CMS structures and content models that support scalability, flexibility, and performance.
• Establish and enforce Webflow development best practices, naming conventions, and class structures.
• Extend Webflow functionality using custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) when necessary.
• Architect and implement advanced interactions and animations while maintaining performance standards.
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics, personalization tools).
• Optimize website performance, accessibility, technical SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
• Conduct QA reviews and provide mentorship or guidance to mid-level and junior developers.
• Troubleshoot complex layout, performance, and cross-browser issues.
• Collaborate with design, strategy, delivery and messaging teams to ensure sites are optimized for conversion and search visibility.
• Stay ahead of Webflow platform updates and evaluate new tools or workflows that improve delivery quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production websites, with deep hands-on expertise in Webflow.
• Proven experience delivering complex Webflow builds for marketing websites, brand sites, or content-driven platforms.
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable custom code.
• Advanced understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG standards), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Deep experience with Webflow CMS architecture and scalable content modeling.
• Experience implementing technical SEO best practices and optimizing performance (Core Web Vitals).
• Experience integrating third-party platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Zapier, Memberstack, Airtable, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues independently.
• Experience conducting code reviews or mentoring other developers.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
