WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Vice President, Alternative Delivery Project Director – Federal Programs to join our Federal Alternative Delivery Team. This senior leadership role will focus on advancing WSP’s federal alternative delivery and contractor-led design-build practice. This position has the potential to work out of any WSP office, which could include Arlington, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Denver, CO; Tacoma, WA; San Diego, CA; Dallas, TX; or San Antonio, TX.

The Alternative Delivery Project Director – Federal Programs (ADPD FP) provides executive leadership for a portfolio of alternative delivery pursuits and active projects in the federal and Department of War (DoW) markets, combining proactive market engagement with executive project oversight. Working closely with Federal business line leadership and the U.S. Alternative Delivery team, you will help grow WSP’s federal design-build consulting practice by selecting the right opportunities and partners, aligning delivery strategy, and overseeing procurement and post-award execution to manage risk and compliance, achieve schedule and margin objectives, develop talent, and strengthen delivery capabilities across multidisciplinary horizontal and vertical construction projects.
The ADPD FP may also hold national and/or regional contractor account management responsibilities for designated contractor clients, developing relationship and teaming plans that leverage WSP’s geographic presence and technical expertise and position WSP as a preferred design partner for long-term federal and DoW programs.
Your Impact
In this role, you will guide federal alternative delivery pursuits and projects from early positioning and procurement through execution and closeout. You will support go/no-go and teaming decisions, help shape capture strategy, pricing and negotiation approaches, and delivery outcomes, and promote collaboration and continuous improvement across WSP’s Alternative Delivery practice.
You are an accomplished executive leader with experience shaping, winning, and delivering large, complex federal contractor-led design-build programs. You bring strategic judgment, commercial perspective, federal market insight, and delivery discipline, with the ability to align business priorities, contractor expectations, government requirements, delivery practices, and organizational processes across a matrixed, multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $168,900 - $264,500
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
Expected Salary (Colorado only): $168,900 - $248,200
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
