Title:  Senior Technical Specialist ( DBT )

Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai

Education: Any Degree ( Computer Science )

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions

• Build and manage dbt models, including:

• Incremental models

• Snapshots

• Tests

• Macros

• Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for data transformation and analysis

• Implement and maintain data models (dimensional/star/snowflake schemas)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions

• Build and maintain semantic layers for business consumption

• Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and performance

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool)  -- hands-on experience is mandatory

• Advanced SQL proficiency

• Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling concepts

• Experience in building and managing semantic layers

Good-to-Have Skills (Optional):

• Experience with BI tools such as:

• Power BI

• Looker

• Tableau

• Amazon QuickSight

• Exposure to cloud data platforms like:

• Amazon Redshift

• Snowflake

• Databricks

• Experience in DAG creation using Apache Airflow

• Exposure to AI/ML models or agents for development, testing, or deployment automation

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:

• Terraform

• Pulumi

• AWS CloudFormation
