Senior Team, Delivery and Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

Purpose

Senior Team and Delivery Leader is responsible for disciplinary leadership, leading employees in staff-related and functional terms. The holder of this position is organizing the team of experts with different skill profiles, motivating and enthusing staff, providing feedback, initiating training and further developing staff, promoting talent; and is responsible for overseeing technical solutions (job complexity D+) and provide coaching to team members. Assuming responsibility for high-level, complex task fields with a higher level of difficulty due to special/coordination tasks and assuming extensive responsibility for a large operational team area with largely standardized activities. Acts according to valid legislation and Slovak Labor code.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will help teams navigate the real trade-offs between speed, quality, technical debt, and long-term scalability - and turn those trade-offs into better engineering decisions.

• Lead and develop engineering teams by creating a strong team environment, coaching people, supporting growth, and helping engineers do their best work
• Shape technical direction by guiding architecture and engineering decisions, overseeing complex technical solutions, and strengthening engineering standards
• Own delivery outcomes by helping teams deliver high-quality results on time, improving predictability, and removing obstacles that slow delivery down
• Strengthen quality and reliability by improving engineering practices, technical processes, and conditions for stable, secure, and sustainable delivery
• Work across teams and stakeholders to turn business needs into technically sound solutions, align priorities, and manage expectations
• Contribute to strategy and performance by supporting execution across your area, improving ways of working, and helping steer operational and financial priorities
• Take leadership responsibility for your teams and area in line with valid legislation and the Slovak Labor Code

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

• accountability for engineering team performance, technical execution quality, and sustainable delivery
• influence over team growth, hiring decisions, and engineering improvement priorities in your area
• a shared role in technical direction together with Technical Leads and Architecture, with clear boundaries that keep hands-on technical ownership where it belongs

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2 700€ /brutto.
