Senior Software Engineer - .NET / Modern Angular (567)

About our client

Our client provides comprehensive HR software for the public sector, covering the full employee lifecycle – recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and compliance for government organizations.

What you'll do

• Build web features, make enhancements, resolve bugs, and support the product lifecycle within the Power product suite.

• Engage in hands-on development, implementation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Work with stored procedures, relational databases, and performance-sensitive SQL.

• Utilize AI tools and coding agents (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to rapidly deliver value to customers.

• Collaborate effectively across teams in a Shift Left development environment while writing unit and integration tests.

What you bring (must-haves)

• 4+ years of professional experience building web applications using C#, SQL, and Angular.

• Experience working with stored procedures, relational databases, or performance-sensitive SQL.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (B.E., B.Tech, MCA, B.Sc), or equivalent practical work experience.

• Clear and confident English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Self-driven approach, strong ownership, and solid troubleshooting/debugging skills.

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable code and comfort working in a Shift Left development environment.

Bonus points for (nice-to-haves)

• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, including indexing and query optimization.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.

• Exposure to modern API technologies such as GraphQL.

• Experience with coding agents or AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., MCP, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and basic to intermediate understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, etc.).

• Understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS) in traditional web environments.

• Experience building applications for large enterprise customers.
