Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer (L3 Support) with strong expertise in .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. The candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex application issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of business-critical applications. This role requires working in the US Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone and collaborating closely with business users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 (L3) technical support for business applications.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents and application issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring issues.
  • Monitor application health, performance, and availability.
  • Investigate and resolve database-related issues using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Review application logs, debug code, and identify defects in .NET-based applications.
  • Coordinate with business users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Support application deployments, patches, and production releases when required.
  • Maintain incident documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and provide regular status updates on critical incidents.
  • Participate in on-call support activities and production support processes as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • Proficiency in C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting database issues.
  • Experience in application debugging, troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Good understanding of web application architecture and support processes.
  • Ability to analyze issues independently and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting ERP applications.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools.
  • Exposure to release management and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and problem management.
  • Experience working with global teams and supporting business users across different time zones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in application development and/or production support using Microsoft technologies.

Working Conditions

  • Must be willing to work in the US Eastern Standard Time (EST) shift.
  • Ability to handle critical production issues and support business applications in a fast-paced environment.
