We're hiring a Senior SEO / LLM Optimization Specialist to grow organic visibility for a proven accounting SaaS platform used by thousands of businesses. This role combines deep SEO expertise with a forward-thinking approach to AI-driven search - making sure Synder shows up not just on Google, but in AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews when our target audience is looking for accounting solutions.


You will own Synder's organic search presence end-to-end - from technical site health to content strategy to AI-era discoverability - driving qualified traffic, pipeline contribution, and brand authority in the accounting and e-commerce space.


Reporting: Head of Marketing (solid line); close collaboration with Content, Product, and Growth teams.

What you’ll do

  • Own and execute Synder's SEO strategy - technical, on-page, off-page, and AI-search optimization.
  • Drive organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, and search-generated pipeline contribution.
  • Build and optimize content structures designed to appear in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and similar tools).
  • Conduct keyword and topic research with a focus on accounting, e-commerce, and fintech audiences.
  • Perform regular site audits and fix technical issues affecting search performance (site speed, crawlability, structured data, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Content team to produce and optimize high-ranking, AI-retrievable content — pillar pages, topic clusters, and FAQ content.
  • Manage and report on organic performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush.
  • Stay ahead of changes in search behavior, Google algorithm updates, and AI search developments.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on technical SEO improvements to the website and app pages.


What we expect

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of growing organic traffic and rankings in a competitive niche.
  • Working knowledge of LLM/AI search optimization (GEO/AEO) - understanding how AI tools surface and cite content.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar.
  • Proficiency with Webflow and Hubspot is a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO: site architecture, structured data (schema markup), crawlability, page speed.
  • Experience developing content strategies - not just optimizing existing pages, but planning what to build.
  • Data-driven mindset: comfortable tracking, analyzing, and reporting on organic performance metrics.
  • Strong written English; ability to brief and review content clearly.
  • Experience in fintech, accounting, or e-commerce is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML, structured data formats, or Markdown is a must.
  • Experience with YMYL content is a plus.
