Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly  

Location/Flexibility: Local to the DC Metro Area, Remote Flexible 

Responsibilities:

As a Scrum Master, you will serve as a facilitator and coach for Agile teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework to deliver high-quality outcomes. This servant-leader role focuses on removing obstacles, fostering collaboration, and helping teams become self-organizing and highly productive.

• Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress.
• Coach & Mentor: Guide teams on Scrum principles, practices, and values to improve effectiveness.
• Promote Agile Principles: Champion Agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Agile values and practices.
• Foster Collaboration: Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
• Enable Team Focus: Create an environment that minimizes distractions and supports sustained productivity.
• Monitor Progress: Track team progress, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies.
• Ensure Transparency: Promote visibility into team activities and ensure access to necessary information.
• Support Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner in backlog prioritization and communicating the product vision to the team.

Qualifications:  

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 5–7 years of relevant experience. 
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. 
• Agile Expertise:  
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe frameworks. 
  • Experience using GitLab for Agile project tracking and collaboration. 
• Soft Skills:  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities. 
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. 
  • Demonstrated servant leadership and team motivation capabilities. 

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Must be able to lift to 10-15 pounds at times.
