About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on developer with leadership skills, capable of guiding a team of developers while also collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and administrators to deliver high-quality CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce development initiatives, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Design and develop custom applications, integrations, and automations on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of Salesforce developers through code reviews, mentoring, and hands-on problem-solving.
  • Partner with Solution/Technical Architects/Data Migration Specialists to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end development lifecycle: requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware.
  • Ensure platform scalability, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and ecosystem innovations; proactively recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with QA teams for test automation, regression testing, and release management.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with at least 2+ years in a lead/mentoring role.
  • Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration (flows, validation rules, custom objects, page layouts, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security model (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Git).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices and modern development lifecycles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on coding.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (minimum: Platform Developer I).
  • Additional certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect, or JavaScript Developer I are a plus.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
  • Knowledge of middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Prior experience in leading offshore/nearshore development teams.
