At TD Insurance, we are actively seeking top-tier claims specialist to join our Private Client Advice (PCA) team —The TD Insurance Private Client Advice (PCA) claims Residential team supports clients who are part of the high-net-worth insurance program. These clients have assigned Private Account Managers that work closely with them.

This is not a standard claims role.

  • Lead complex residential claims across a wide range of severities — from large-loss files ($250K+) to lower-value claims — all managed with the same exceptional level of precision, discretion, and high-touch service expected by high-net-worth.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and ownership, where your expertise directly drives claim strategy and outcomes.
  • Deliver a premium, relationship-driven experience to a sophisticated client base with elevated expectations.
  • Combine field investigations and strategic file management, giving you both visibility on-site and influence behind the scenes.
  • Be recognized as a true subject matter expert, contributing beyond your files and influencing best practices across the team.

 Customer

  • Lead the end-to-end management of complex residential claims, from investigation to resolution.
  • Conduct on-site investigations, meeting clients, experts, and stakeholders.
  • Deliver a high-touch, discreet experience aligned with high-net-worth.
  • Take ownership of negotiations and settlement strategies, balancing client needs and risk.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during critical and sensitive situations.

 Shareholder

  • Apply strong risk assessment and financial discipline on high-exposure and complex files.
  • Ensure defensible decisions and audit-ready documentation aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Drive quality outcomes, cost control, and leakage prevention.
  • Influence claims strategy as a recognized expert in complex file management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.

 Employee / Team

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and industry experts to deliver optimal outcomes.
  • Share your expertise and elevate team capability and knowledge.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Private Account Managers and leadership.

 Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience handling complex residential or property claims.
  • Valid AMF Claims Adjuster License (mandatory).
  • Valid driver’s license (mandatory).
  • Proven ability to manage high-value, complex, and sensitive claims with sound judgment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients and delivering a tailored, premium service approach.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence.
