Senior QA Engineer

99Bright Minds is seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the client's bilingual corporate website and digital platforms across web and mobile environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing comprehensive testing activities, automating quality processes, and ensuring every release meets the highest standards for functionality, accessibility, security, and user experience.

Requirements

• Define the test strategy, test plans and test cases for new features, maintenance updates and integrations. 

• Run functional, regression, integration and user-acceptance testing on web and mobile. 

• Test Arabic and English versions side by side: RTL layout, translations, fonts, dates and numbers. 

• Build and maintain automated UI and API test suites, and run them in the CI/CD pipeline. 

• Test integrations with external systems and APIs, including error and edge cases. 

• Run performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and basic security checks (OWASP Top 10). 

• Log, track and verify defects, and report release readiness to the client. 

• Document test results, coverage and processes for knowledge transfer. 

Requirements 

• 5 years in software QA, including web and mobile testing. 

• Hands-on test automation with at least one tool (Playwright, Cypress or Selenium) and API testing (Postman or REST Assured). 

• Experience testing bilingual Arabic/English products, including RTL. 

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps Test Plans, TestRail). 

• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines. 

• At least one delivered project for a client in Saudi Arabia. 

• Proficient in Arabic and English. 

Nice to have 

• ISTQB certification. 

• Performance testing (JMeter or k6) and accessibility tools (axe, Lighthouse). 

• Cross-device testing platforms (BrowserStack or Sauce Labs). 

• Security testing basics (OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite).
