About the Role
SIRIS is seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator to support proposal development across federal, state, and private-sector opportunities.
This role coordinates the proposal lifecycle from solicitation review through submission, ensuring proposals are compliant, compelling, and aligned with business development strategies. The Senior Proposal Coordinator partners closely with leadership, technical teams, and business development professionals to help drive company growth through successful proposal submissions.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Proposal Development & Coordination
- Coordinate proposal development for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, SF330s, task orders, and related solicitations.
- Develop and maintain proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and submission plans.
- Coordinate proposal reviews and manage incorporation of review comments.
- Support development of technical narratives, executive summaries, past performance content, resumes, and other proposal materials.
- Ensure proposal submissions meet solicitation requirements, deadlines, and company standards.
- Oral Presentations
- Support development and rehearsal of oral presentations.
- Coordinate presentation outlines, scripts, graphics, and supporting materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to prepare compelling presentation content.
- Content Management
- Maintain proposal libraries, resumes, project descriptions, and past performance content.
- Support SharePoint knowledge management resources and proposal templates.
- Support use of proposal automation tools and generative AI solutions to improve proposal quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Required
- 7+ years of experience in proposal management, proposal coordination, marketing, business development support, or related field.
- Demonstrated success supporting federal proposal efforts.
- Experience supporting complex federal proposals and competitive pursuits.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, FAR/DFARS regulations, and win strategy.
- Experience using government procurement platforms such as SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, OASIS, or similar tools.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Teams.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines.
- Preferred
- Experience with Deltek CRM.
- APMP and/or Shipley certification.
- Experience with proposal automation tools and generative AI solutions.
- Graphic design experience.
- Construction management, engineering, commissioning, or federal infrastructure proposal experience.
- Experience supporting oral presentations and color team reviews.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
